Time & Location

About the Event
Psychological First Aid is the leading modality of care that helps us as individuals, organizations and communities build a safety net of mental health support during times of disaster and trauma. In this training, participants will learn about the impact of disasters on different populations, how to create that safety net of mental health support in their work, and how to build resilience and self-care into their lives (both immediately and over the long-term).
This is a four hour long training, with short breaks built in. You will receive a copy of the PowerPoint presentation prior to the training. Come prepared to ask questions and take notes. This training is a safe space to share thoughts, experiences and emotions.
This training is for essential employees and frontline workers only. If you are caring for people as part of your work during the COVID-19 crisis, this training is for you.
